I made the mistake of subscribing to several news and RSS feeds about the upcoming IPhone with 3G capabilities. I’m amazed at how frequently a blog, post, or news story hits the web. Some are good articles but most are, “my friend knows this guy that pumps gas for a guy that’s brother works in China where the IPhone is set to be manufacturered, and he said…”.
I even saw pictures of Steve Job’s coming out of a cafe’ captions “Steve Job’s pondering the new iphone while getting tea”.
Come ON~!
So it’s not what I had expected. I figured I’d just be busy running around after my 2 year old once the “terrible twos” hit, and I am. There was an added bonus however. Weepy, cuddly, and whiny. If her routine is broken or if things are not done in the order she preferred, you’d have either be ready for a battle of wills or to hold and coddle a weepy 20+ pound lump of sulking toddler. The latter of course I don’t mind so much.
The part of me interested in Psychology and cognitive development is taking notes. Its already amazing to watch your child develop and learn. Its somewhat more entertaining to watch a 2 year old figure out the many ways to out smart you. I’ll concede to being wrapped around her 1″ finger. I take comfort in knowing I’m certainly not the only one.
